About Us
We have welcomed countless people through our doors, helping them find healthier paths in life and move into housing. Our mission has always been about helping people. Our staff have and continue to provide a sliver of hope in a world, which at times, can be cold and hard. We have calculated that we have worked with over 12,000 people in the past forty years. From our programs to our material support, we don’t try to change the world; rather we change many worlds, one person at a time.

Grace House and St John House have specialized staff who work one-on-one with each resident to create and work through a transition plan. A transition plan looks different for each individual, and their specific needs.
Our shelters have adapted a Prevention and Diversion model, which has been highly successful. Each individual that is looking to access shelter at one of our emergency shelters must complete an assessment with our Prevention and Diversion Specialist.
Our Housing Specialists support clients in their housing through intensive case management for approximately one year. This includes meetings at the clients home, advocacy, assistance with any concerns with their tenancy and landlord, support with any goals specific to their journey and overall support for their well-being.
